## Identity and scope

PEI means Prince Edward Island, Canada. PEI News Network is a news aggregator and discussion service, not CBC, a government website, or the original publisher of the linked reporting. The All Island feed prioritizes PEI; a separate Atlantic feed covers nearby regional news. Inclusion and freshness depend on available publisher feeds. It is not an exhaustive archive or an emergency alert service.

The feed displays headlines, short feed teasers and feed-provided images where available. Full articles remain on publishers' websites. Publisher subscriptions and paywalls still apply. Configured Island sources include CBC News PEI, Government of Prince Edward Island, Global News PEI, SaltWire, UPEI and La Voix acadienne; availability can vary. Listing a source does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

## Community and AI

Readers can discuss stories, reply, react, save and share. Polls appear inside comments. Guest and account options are available. Moderation and reporting apply; free discussion does not mean unmoderated abuse.

Island Voice provides AI-assisted story questions, polls and on-demand sourced answers. Ask Island Voice can consult accessible article material and web sources for context, but full-text access and accuracy are not guaranteed. Answers can be incomplete and availability is limited. Check the cited original sources, particularly for breaking news and consequential decisions.

Clearly labelled canned satire comments are entertainment, not reporting, genuine public testimony or AI-generated evidence. Reader comments, forum posts, satire and AI responses are distinct from publisher reporting.
